When you collect a payment through METI, we charge 0.5% of the transaction value - capped at ₦1,000 per payment. So on a ₦500,000 invoice, you pay just ₦1,000. That is all. No monthly fees, no hidden charges.
No. METI never touches your money. Payments go directly from your customer to your bank account through Paystack or Flutterwave. We facilitate the connection and record the transaction. METI is not a bank and does not hold funds at any point.
Payout timing follows your payment processor's schedule - typically same day or next business day for Paystack and Flutterwave. METI does not add any delay on our end. Check your processor's dashboard for your specific settlement schedule.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard methods. Payment processing is handled by Paystack and Flutterwave, both CBN-licensed processors. METI does not store card numbers or bank credentials. We also never hold your money.
METI computes and tracks your tax obligations automatically based on current NRS (formerly FIRS) rates. You can see what you owe at any point in your dashboard. However, you are still responsible for filing and remitting to the NRS. We make the numbers clear so the process is less stressful.
Yes. METI generates a clean payment link for every invoice. You can share it anywhere - WhatsApp, email, SMS, or any other channel. Your customer clicks the link, pays securely, and you get notified immediately.
Yes. You can create invoices, manage contacts, and track payments for free. The only charge is the 0.5% fee (capped at ₦1,000) when you collect a payment online. There is no monthly subscription required to begin.
Yes. METI supports multiple locations. Each branch keeps its own stock and sales, you switch between them with one tap, and you can move stock from one branch to another with a transfer that updates both counts. Multiple locations are available on our paid plans, with unlimited locations on Enterprise.
Yes. On the Free plan you get a basic product catalogue and stock that draws down automatically every time you invoice. Low-stock alerts and price history come with Growth, and margin reports with Business.
No. If you can send a WhatsApp message, you can send a METI invoice. Setup takes about two minutes, and your first invoice is a fill-in-the-blanks form. No accountant or training needed.
You can keep using WhatsApp. METI just adds what a notebook cannot: a payment link your customer taps to pay you directly, a record of who has paid, stock that updates itself, and your tax position ready when you need it. Start free and run it alongside what you do now.
No. Basic food items like rice, beans, and garri are zero-rated, so METI will not add 7.5% where it does not belong. You charge VAT only where the law requires it.
